ASSORTED CHINA HEAD LADY DOLLS, LOT OF TWO, each unmarked, shoulder heads, hand-painted facial features including blue eyes, eyebrows, and a pink closed mouth, stuffed bodies with china arms and lower legs which are painted white with pink garter and black boots, black-painted molded hair in a flat-top style with corkscrew curls to the reverse, and remaining with a covered-wagon hairstyle. Each with vintage clothing including a black and pink satin-striped dress, and remaining with a brown and floral print linen dress, period undergarments. Second half 19th century. 16" and 18" H.
Covered wagon-hairstyle example with a crack to shoulder, remaining example head undamaged, each with some minor roughness to finger tips, possibly as made, each foot with roughness and one leg with a hairline and shallow losses to foot tips, brown dress example with an old replaced leg. Clothing with expected wear/imperfections and some deterioration.
