ASSORTED DECORATED COMPOSITE KEROSENE STAND LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, colorless fonts with frosted finish, comprising an example with an embossed lily-of-the-valley floral band, ringed and concave-form stem with pink ground and a hand-painted heron in a marsh decoration; remaining example with a compressed frosted and cut font with floral pattern, cylinder-form stem with pale blue ground, hand-painted heron in a marsh decoration, period collars with shoulder plate and connectors, cast-metal square-form foot. Each fitted with a period No. 2 slip burner, combination shade with colorless base and opaque white dome-form top, each base with embossed patent dates. Various makers. Fourth quarter 19th century. 19 1/2" to 20 1/2" H to top of shades.
Excellent overall condition, lamps undamaged, expected wear to decorations, one example with a dent to the collar and dents to the shoulder plate. One burner deflector with a minute dent, remaining burner undamaged, one shade top and a base each with a chip to the rim, one base with a short crack/annealing crack, normal as-made roughness to rims.
