ASSORTED ENGLISH INK BOTTLES, LOT OF 13, varying shades of blue- and green-ish aqua, including a variety of octagonal, round, and rectangular inkwells, some with vertical fluting and molded pen rests to bodies, one square double pen rest example embossed "HOLLIDGE / LONDON", each bottle with rough unfinished so-called "burst top" mouths in the English style. Various makers. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2 7/8" HOA.

Mostly very good condition, many undamaged; a couple with mild to moderate chipping at base edges primarily along corners/panels, and some with perhaps moderate sickness or internal residue. Each with jagged roughness at mouths and some with surfaced open bubbles or potstones, all as made.
