comprising six assorted thimbles, including five marked sterling silver examples, each with various chased and engraved foliage decoration; three pincushions, including a lamb, shoe, and a shield-form Mauchline-ware souvenir of Edinburgh; two brass sewing birds with patent dates on wings, one with later pincushion; two wooden needle cases; a strawberry figural emery; a Seamsew spool of unused thread in original paper box; and a needlework sampler housed in veneer frame and under glass, needlework with alphabet and "Olivia Picking 1847".

Condition
Very good overall condition, sewing birds with broken springs and one lacking pincushion, expected wear, sampler with significant fading and discoloration, frame lacking some areas of veneer.
