ASSORTED POTTERY ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising two earthenware jug-form banks; a primitive black-glazed bust; an unusual brown-glazed jug with Jan. 24, 1882 patent date to the top; a master ink bottle; and three Albany-slip glazed toy jugs collected in Rockingham/Shenandoah Co., VA. Second half 19th/first half 20th century. 5/8" to 10" H.
Dated jug with chip to one ear and non-original handle, bust with repair to the front of the base, remainder undamaged, banks with moderate to heavy surface wear.
