ASSORTED STERLING AND OTHER SILVER OPEN SALTS AND SHAKER, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising six marked sterling pieces consisting of a small footed open salt by Whiting Mfg. Co., a small open salt with paneled sides by Webster Co. of North Attleboro, MA, a footed open salt with fluted bowl, a small shaker with unidentified maker's mark, a small open salt with flared rim, and a glass open salt with sterling silver overlay, a marked coin silver small open salt on round foot, and a Native American / Native American-style silver ovoid open salt with stamped decoration around twist rim. Sterling pieces and coin silver piece marked for silver finenesses, ovoid open salt unmarked and of unknown silver fineness/metal content. Total weight excluding glass open salt with sterling overlay: 2.750 ozt. Second half 19th/20th century. Largest open salt with fluted bowl 1 1/4" HOA, 2 1/4" D rim.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, and one or a few dents.
