ATTERBURY'S SUN PEG KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless font embossed "PATD SEPT 29TH 1868" around peg, mottled opaque plum Gem base, brass screw-socket connector with patent information, No. 1 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a City Manufacturing Co. No. 1 hinged lip burner, and a colorless lip chimney. Atterbury & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 8 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" SQ base.

Excellent condition, font undamaged, foot with several small chips/flakes/roughness primarily to the underside edge, font with an as-made un-dissolved stone and several bubbles. Burner undamaged, chimney fitter with a flake.
