CUT AND ENGRAVED LYRE FONT KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless pyriform font, finely decorated with two lyres and thistles, ferns, and berries above a band of ovals and a band of tiny clusters of punties, fluted brass stem, double-step marble base with cast brass ornamentation, No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 2 Benedict & Burnham Manuf. Co. W. N. Weeden lip burner, 4 1/2" stamped brass shade ring, colorless and frosted Oregon shade with engraved punties and foliage. Non-period colorless lip chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1855-1870. 18 3/4" H to top of shade, 11 1/2" H to top of collar, 4 3/4" SQ base; shade 6 1/2" H, 4" D fitter.
