BALTIMORE, MARYLAND DECORATED STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF THREE, salt-glazed, each of cylindrical form, comprising an approximately half-gallon capacity example, an approximately one-gallon capacity example, and a "2" gallon capacity marked example. Each having brushed cobalt decorations including one with dropped feather encircling neck, one featuring horizontal feather design encircling shoulder, and one having double bloom flower and leaf design repeated three times. Circa 1875. 8 3/4" to 12 1/2" H.

Two-gallon example undamaged; half-gallon example with rim chip; one-gallon example having some scattered flakes to foot edge and a hairline to rim. Manufacturing flaws including two-gallon with firing separation to interior, as made.
