BLACK, STARR AND FROST RETAILED STERLING SILVER BASKETS, LOT OF TWO, each with bail handle and monogram, comprising a footed example with Vintage/Grape decoration additionally marked "STERLING / 1841A", and a footed reticulated example with cobalt blue glass insert, additionally marked "STERLING / 4IN / 716". Total weight without insert: 10.98 ozt. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 2 1/2" H rim, 6 1/4" DOA; and 3 7/8" H rim, 4" DOA.
Provenance: From the Eddie Tatum estate collection, Winston-Salem, NC.
Excellent overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches.
