BRASS SINGLE-ARM KEROSENE HARVARD STUDENT LAMP, electrified, embossed font with paneling under scroll and figural Mephistopheles ornamentation, supported by a central shaft and weighted circular foot, adjustable shade ring. Fitted with an electrified burner, and an opaque white conical-form shade with flared top. Probably Plume & Atwood. Second half 19th century. 26 1/2" HOA, 5 3/4" D base. Shade 5 3/4" H, 7" D fitter.
