BRITISH HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC TOBY JUGS, LOT OF FOUR, each having polychrome decorations, comprising one example featuring Vice-Admiral Horatio "Nelson" depicting a figure in British military dress standing on circular molded base in front of cannon, one sitting example with legs crossed and holding a pitcher, one featuring "Mr Pickwick" depicting a standing figure wearing spectacles and right hand raised, and one example featuring a grinning gentleman with arms crossed. 19th century. 11 7/8" HOA. 

Condition

Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson undamaged; Mr. Pickwick having loss to thumb; sitting example with pitcher having a filled and painted chip to base; crossed arm example having rim with a hairline and flake.
