CHINESE / JAPANESE PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED DISHES, LOT OF FIVE, including two famille rose examples including one scalloped rim footed example featuring a bird and lotus flower and one divided-form example with flowers and insects to interior and three bats to exterior, having red Tongzhi Nian Zhi mark to underside, and two Imari-decorated examples including one rectangular-form example with dragons in green-decorated waves and one circular example having panels with flowers and birds, and red three character mark to underside. Late 19th to 20th century. 2 1/4" HOA, 10 7/8" DOA.
Condition
Three undamaged, except some having minor scattered wear to enamel decorations especially to gilt; lotus and bird example having exterior rim flake with two very faint hairlines; smaller circular dish with glued rim flake.
