JAPANESE PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, including a charger featuring blue and white decorated water scene depicting a bird flying above iris and two Nippon examples including a baluster-form vase with cherry blossom and raised gilt decorations and an octagonal-form dish featuring a waterside landscape scene with house and blooming cherry tree in foreground. Marks to underside include green-printed M-in-Wreath with "Hand Painted" above and "NIPPON" below and red-printed torii (gate) with "NIPPON" above. Late 19th to 20th century. 2 1/4" HOA, 17 7/8" D.

Charger and two vases undamaged, except charger having light short scattered scratches and square vase having some scattered losses to enamel decorations; dish with faint rim hairline; baluster vase having moderate "y" shaped hairline to body, painted over chip to foot, and discolored repair/restoration to one handle.
