CIVIL WAR REMINGTON 1863 ZOUAVE PERCUSSION RIFLE, 58 caliber, walnut full-stock with two brass barrel bands, "U.S." marked buttplate, and two-piece patchbox; barrel marked "1863", "VP / Eagle head" proof, "H.S.L." and "STEEL"; lock marked "1863" to rear of hammer and Eagle above "U.S." and "REMINGTON'S / ILION, N.Y." forward of hammer. Stock with boxed "HDJ" cartouche behind lock bolts. Appropriate tulip-head steel ramrod and brass-handle saber bayonet. 1862 -1865. 69" LOA, 33 1/4" barrel.

Stock with old repaired break at wrist, some marring and small chips, otherwise very good with mostly smooth, original finish to metal.
