CLASSIC / GILLINDER NO. 403 (OMN) BLAINE AND LOGAN PLATES, LOT OF TWO, colorless with frosted central intaglio design, well-detailed busts of James G. Blaine and John A. Logan in center. Blaine example with embossed designer/manufacturer's signature "P. J. JACOBUS / SCUL." Produced for the 1884 Presidential campaign. Gillinder & Sons, Philadelphia PA. Fourth quarter 19th century. 11 3/4" DOA.

Condition
Excellent condition overall, each with minor wear to undersides and Logan example with moderate wear to interior and a V-shaped check with short radiation at top of his hair at underside. Both with roughness and flaking along mold lines at outer rims, as-made.
