CONTINENTAL CAVE A LIQUEUR / TANTALUS BOXES, LOT OF TWO, comprising an example with a brass-inlaid top, and an example with a brass cartouche. Together with a set of six rock crystal cordials signed by Hawkes. Eight pieces total. Possibly French. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. 10 3/4" HOA, 13 1/4" WOA, 10" DOA.
Condition
Good condition overall with some wear and losses, notably to front feet panels on burled example; Hawkes glasses undamaged.
