CONTINENTAL CERAMIC FIGURAL ANTHROPOMORPHIC CANINE HUMIDORS, LOT OF TWO, each wearing hunting garb and holding a rifle, comprising a standing gentleman fox smoking a pipe and a spaniel wearing a green jacket and hat with a bag across his shoulder. Marks to underside include stamped "FGW." and hand-brushed or inscribed numerals. F. Gerbing Witwe, Bodenbach, Bohemia; and other. Second half 19th century. 9 3/4" HOA.
Condition
Fox having some restoration to ear tips, chin, and possibly the end of rifle; dog having areas of restoration including one hand reattached and moderate touch-ups, some flaking paint.
