CONTINENTAL TERRA COTTA / BROWN-GLAZED CERAMIC FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF FOUR, comprising two women examples including one depicting an African American lady wearing royal dress and holding a letter and one featuring a scowling large female holding a shoe in one hand and a hand broom in the other, one example depicting a grinning figure smoking a long pipe, and one featuring a well-dressed sitting figure, holding a sword, having two books and large stein at his feet. Marks include impressed or incised numerals, one having "CLT & Co.", and one with "L&C". Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 11 1/4" HOA.

Condition

Gentlemen examples mostly undamaged, except some possible paint touch-ups; African American woman having a flake to tip of ear, a flake to top interior flange; scowling woman having moderate restoration, primarily to top and some flaking.
