CUT OVERLAY ELONGATED OVALS AND PANELS KEROSENE STAND LAMP, white cut to colorless pyriform font, double rows of cut stylized tear-drop form panels, traces of gilt decoration around each cutting, opaque black No. 1 base with opal swirls terminating in cobalt blue tips, brass connector, No.1 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a City Manufacturing Co. No. 1 lip burner, stamped brass 3 1/2" D shade holder which is supported by an encircling ring around the collar, colorless and frosted Oregon shade with engraved floral pattern, and a colorless chimney. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Third quarter 19th century. 16" H to top of shade, 9 1/4" H to top of collar, 4" SQ foot. Shade 6 1/4" HOA, 3 3/8" D fitter.
