CUT OVERLAY FLUTE AND TINY PUNTY KEROSENE STAND LAMP, amethyst to colorless, pyriform font, unusual pattern comprising 14 vertical finger flutes above four bands of 14 tiny punties, peg attached by wafer, raised on a double-step marble base with stamped brass ornamentation, No. 1 fine-line collar. Third quarter 19th century. 11 3/4" H, 4 1/2" SQ base.

Condition

Excellent condition overall with scattered denting to the brass areas; scattered wear to the font. Couple minor open bubbles to the font, as made.
