CUT-OVERLAY OVAL AND PUNTY KEROSENE STAND LAMP, opaque white to colorless, pyriform font with an upper band of six oval windows and a lower band of six punty cuts, remnants of gilt decoration, raised on a ribbed brass stem and double-step marble base with stamped brass ornamentation, wafer construction, period No. 2 brass collar. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1860-1880. 10 7/8" H, 4 3/8" SQ base.
Provenance: From the George Foree collection, Overland Park, KS.
Undamaged with scattered surface wear to the font; expected light roughness to the edges of the marble.
