CUT OVERLAY QUATREFOIL KEROSENE STAND LAMP, white cut to starch blue pyriform font, starch blue base with square-form foot, brass connector, No. 2 fine line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising an E. F. Jones No. 2 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES PATENT. JANUARY 11, 1859" and with wing symbol, with a Merrill's air director, marked "R. S. MERRILL PATENT JUNE 14. 1859", brass 4 1/2" D stamped shade ring, an engraved and frosted ball-form shade with stylized punties and lines pattern, and a colorless lip chimney. Lamp: Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Shade: Probably Mt. Washington Glass Co. Second half 19th century. 20 1/4" H to top of shade, 13" H to top of collar, 5 1/8" SQ base. Shade 6 1/8" H, 4 7/8" D fitter.

Font drilled in base, top of stem with several short cracks/imperfections, top of foot with a potstone resulting in a small loss and a star crack. Burner undamaged, shade fitter with several minute fitter flakes, chimney rims with minor flakes/roughness.
