Catalogue Note: David Lloyd-Jones was born in Wimbledon in 1928. Primarily self-taught when it came to pottery, he did not become a full-time potter until his mid 30s. Lloyd-Jones focused on making pieces that were functional, well-made, and appealing to the eye. His works can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as other esteemed collections.
