DECORATED TOLE-WARE SHEET IRON COUNT RUMFORD STAND LAMP, original red and white enamel paint with worn gilt decoration, square weighted base, ovoid-form reservoir with hinged refill cap and sleeve for a detachable and hinging shade, removable white painted cylinder with a small stylized open-work decoration, cylinder is fitted with a wide wick burner and a brass rack and pinion wick adjustment mechanism. Circa 1800. 12 1/2" H to top of shade, 4 1/8" SQ base.
