DURGIN / GORHAM "FAIRFAX" STERLING SILVER FLATWARE, SET OF 15, pattern designed in 1910, each with engraved "T" initial, comprising four 7 7/8" L place forks, four 7 1/8" L place forks, five bouillon soup spoons, and two youth spoons or small 5 o'clock teaspoons. Each marked "STERLING" in addition to "D" maker's mark for Durgin, which was sold to Gorham in 1905. Total weight: 18.54 ozt. Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI. First half 20th century. 5" to 7 7/8" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, slight bending, one or a few minute dents, and/or minor worn spots to pattern; one 7 1/8" L fork with a moderate bend to one tine.
