EMANUEL SUTER / ISAAC GOOD ATTRIBUTED, ROCKINGHAM CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA EARTHENWARE / REDWARE PRESERVE JAR, lead-glazed with tiny iron-oxide spotting, approximately one-quart capacity, slightly tapered cylindrical form, with galleried rim and inner seat for cover. Probably New Erection Pottery. Circa 1870-1890. 6 3/8" H, 3 1/4" D rim.
