ENGLISH FREE-BLOWN BLACK GLASS MALLET / UTILITY BOTTLE, very dark olive/black, relatively straight-sided mallet form with slightly flared-out base, with inwardly tapering long neck and applied bladed ring/collar below the straight mouth, kicked-up base with wide glass-tipped or disk pontil scar. Circa 1730. 8" H, 5 1/8" D widest.

Condition

Excellent condition with one flake to lower area of collar, routine overall haze with smoothly worn surface patination having minimal degradation or discoloration to the glass, except some on interior at one side.
