ENGLISH PRATTWARE CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF NINE, comprising five pot lids including one featuring the Duke of Ellington will clasped hands, and four framed examples including "The Shrimpers", "The Village Wedding", "Wimbledon, July 1860", and "French Street Scene", and five plates with pink border including "THE VILLAGE WEDDING", "THE WOLF AND THE LAMB", "P. WOUVERMANN PINX", and one depicting ruins and a sleeping shepherdess with cattle and sheep. Third quarter 19th century. Plates 7 1/4" D.

Three plates undamaged; Shrimpers pot lid having radial hairline and frame with two cracks; French Street having flake to front edge; Wedding plate with rim chip and some discoloration; Wimbledon having four minor chips to edge not visible due to frame and frame with minor crack; Wedding pot lid having some chips to edge not visible due to frame; Wellington having glued chip to bottom front and chipping to back flange/foot. Not examined out of frames.
