ENGLISH STERLING SILVER BOWL WITH CASE, semi-hemispherical form with finely engraved and repousse decorations, gold-washed interior, marked for Edward Ker Reid, London, 1879, "S" monogram. Original fitted leather case with royal purple silk and velvet lined interior, marked for Hinks & Radcliffe, London. Total weight: 5.14 ozt. Circa 1879. 2 1/2" H, 4 1/2" D.
Provenance: From the Eddie Tatum estate collection, Winston-Salem, NC.
Excellent overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches, lacking original spoon.
