ENGLISH WORCESTER BLUE IVY MOTIF PORCELAIN 17-PIECE TEA SET, each having transfer vine decoration with gilt accents, comprising a flower-shaped tray, a globular-form teapot, a covered sugar, a creamer, a waste bowl, and six cup and saucer sets. Marks to underside include green-printed crown mark with four connected "W"s below, hand-brushed "B / 652". Royal Worcester Porcelain, Stoke-on-Trent, England. Circa 1882. 5 7/8" HOA, tray 19 3/4" x 18 1/4".
Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collection care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
Sixteen undamaged; one cup with minor rim chip and associated hairline.
