EUROPEAN PORCELAIN OYSTER PLATES, LOT OF THREE,
comprising one Limoges example with hand-painted rose border, signed "Grace Kellogg.", a German example with all over delicate white blooms on iridescent ground, and one example featuring pink- and gilt-decorated shells with light blue transfer floral decorations to edges. Marks to underside include green-printed "H&Co / L / FRANCE" and a shield with "Weimar / Germany".
Weimar, Blankenheim, Germany; Haviland & Co., Limoges, France.
Fourth quarter 19th century.
