FINE SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA PAINT-DECORATED POPLAR FRAME, retaining original backboard and green-and-black foliate decoration against a chrome-yellow ground, housing a Currier & Ives portrait lithograph titled "Adeline" that is likely original to the frame. Second quarter 19th century. 18 1/4" x 15 1/4" OA.
Very good overall condition with minor wear and discoloration.
