FOIL BACK REVERSE-PAINTED GLASS OPTOMETRIST TRADE SIGNS, LOT OF THREE, decorated via gold foil inlaid with mother-of-pearl chips/pieces, applied behind hollow lettering, surrounded in black paint under glass, one reading "EYES TESTED FREE", another "COME IN AND HAVE YOUR GLASSES ADJUSTED", and "SPECTACLES PROPERLY FITTED", each housed in modern frames. Circa 1920. Each 16 7/8" x 5 7/8" OA.
Very good visual condition with some visible discoloration and age-related cracking to paint, some minute areas where foil and/or paint peel away from the glass pane somewhat. Not examined out of frame.
