FOLK ART CARVED- AND PAINTED-WOODEN BLACK AMERICANA JOINTED MALE DOLL, carved wood with wire joints, depicting an African American man with a white shirt under a jacket and high-waisted trousers, his face with a carved nose, ears, and prominently carved teeth. Retains excellent original surface. Likely American. 19th century. 12 3/4" HOA, 3 1/2" WOA, 2 1/2" DOA.
Condition
Very good condition overall with darkening to paint and minor wear.
