FRANCIS WHITTEMORE (AMERICAN 1921-2020) POINSETTIA LAMPWORK PAPERWEIGHT, cut-faceted with a circular top window, central signature cane, red seven-petal poinsettia with seven green leaves protruding from the backside, all above an opaque white ground, signature cane visible from the underside. Pittsburgh area. Third quarter 20th century. 2 1/4" DOA.
Provenance: Glass deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's Collections Acquisition Fund.
