FRANCIS WHITTEMORE (AMERICAN 1921-2020) SINGLE FLOWER LAMPWORK PAPERWEIGHT, cut-faceted, single white six-petal flower with blue stripes, signature cane as the stamen, three green leaves protruding from the backside, thin green stem supporting an additional leaf and matching bud, all above a transparent cranberry ground. Pittsburgh area. Third quarter 20th century. 2 3/4" H, 1 1/2" DOA.
