FREE-BLOWN AND PRESSED LACY WHALE OIL / FLUID STAND LAMP, colorless, bulb-form font raised on a square lacy Princess Feather Medallion and Shell patterned base, wafer construction. Probably New England. 1828-1835. 6 3/4" H, 2 3/4" SQ base.
Provenance: From the collection of Donald Putterman, San Francisco, CA.
Very good condition overall with moderate wear to the font, some scattered chipping and flaking around the base edge.
