FREE-BLOWN, CUT, AND THISTLE ENGRAVED FLUID / KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless, cylindrical font upper and lower band of cut arches with a medial band of engraved floral vines with thistles, raised on a simple brass stem and single-step marble base, period brass collar. Fitted with a later vapor burner. Probably New England area. 1850-1870. 11 3/8" H to top of collar, 4 5/8" SQ base.

Condition
Nearly undamaged with a couple of minute flakes to the underside of the font; some expected light roughness to the edge of the marble; attached adapter to the collar with solder; standing with a slight lean.
