FREE-BLOWN, CUT, AND PRESSED WHALE OIL / FLUID STAND LAMP, colorless, bulb-form font with bold Sheaf of Wheat pattern repeated four times, raised on a hollow tri-part knop and three-step quatrefoil base with interior flutes, bladed wafer construction, lacking collar. Probably New England. 1827-1835. 11 3/8" H, 3 3/4 SQ base.

Condition

Very good condition overall with a couple of minute flakes to the pattern; scattered chipping to the base edge including a moderate sliver chip to the underside of the base.
