FREE-BLOWN DIMINUTIVE SALVER / CAKE STAND, colorless, plate with a galleried rim, raised on an applied hollow hourglass-form stem with concave medial collar, and a circular foot with folded edge and rough pontil mark. Pittsburgh, probably Bakewell, Pears & Co., Pittsburgh, PA. 1850-1875. 5 1/4" H, 6" D plate, 5" D foot.
Very good condition overall with a small bruise/check to the edge of the plate, a chip to the base of the standard; some scattered light wear, some light roughness to the edge of the foot.
