FREE-BLOWN GLASS CREAM AND SUGAR SET, deep blue with an applied opal rim, edge, and finial, comprising a covered sugar bowl with a galleried rim and applied cut opal finial, and a matching pedestal cream jug with an applied handle, each having a rough pontil mark. Probably English, possibly Pittsburgh area. First half 19th century. 4 5/8" to 6 1/4" HOA.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
Undamaged with each having some light wear.
