FREE-BLOWN GLASS WATER LENS FOR LIGHTING, colorless, large spherical body with a short neck and flaring mouth, raised on a wide flaring circular foot with a rolled-over edge, rough pontil mark. Maker unverified. First half 19th century. 13 1/4" H, 9 1/4" DOA.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
Undamaged with some isolated light wear. Mouth having some minor malformation, as made.
