PRESSED CIRCLE AND ELLIPSE WHALE OIL / FLUID STAND LAMP, brilliant deep amethyst, dome-top hexagonal font, raised on a hexagonal baluster-form stem with upper knop, and square base with lemon-squeezer interior, wafer construction, period pewter collar. Fitted with a period two-tube screw-in burner. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1840-1860. 10 3/8" H, 3 3/8" SQ base.
