FREE-BLOWN OPEN COMPOTE, medium to deep amethyst, slightly conical wide bowl, raised on a waisted stem, applied circular foot, polished pontil mark. Maker unverified. First half 19th century. 6 5/8" H, 7 1/2" D rim.
