FRENCH EXPORT CHASED 0.950 SILVER VASES, LOT OF TWO, each piece with geometric engraved and chased design, comprising a taller example having a spherical-form well, and a smaller example with a semi-ovoid well. Each impressed with an "A [wheel] R" maker's mark for Andre Roberge of Paris (active 1910-1924) to base and a Mercury head export hallmark to the neck for 0.950 silver fineness. Total weight: 15.825 ozt. First quarter 20th century. Taller example 4 1/8" HOA, 3" D rim.
Condition
Very good overall condition with minor wear, minor to moderate surface scratches and nicks, a few dents.
