FRENCH LACY CAST-IRON COPY COMPOTE, shallow bowl with scroll-work and daisy pattern on a stippled ground above a diamond-point bottom, even-scallop rim, raised on an octagonal stem and square base. Retains an old, possibly original black-painted surface. Probably mid 19th century. 6 3/4" H, 9" D rim, 4 1/4" SQ base.
Condition
Good condition with some flaking to paint and associated rust.
