PRESSED LACY GOTHIC ARCH AND PEACOCK FEATHER SUGAR BOWL AND COVER, colorless, circular bowl with a 47-scallop rim having beads to underside, raised on a circular 33-scallop foot with prisms underneath, original ogee-domed cover with floriform finial. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1828-1835. 6" HOA, 3 1/2" H rim, 5" D rim, 3 1/8" D foot.

Very good condition overall with some flaking and chipping to the rim, a surface bruise to the exterior of the base, moderate chip to the edge of the foot resulting in losses to some scallops; cover having some flaking to the rim, a moderate chip to the finial resulting in losses, an additional chip to the finial.
