FRENCH PORCELAIN AND BRASS FIGURAL OPEN SALTS, LOT OF TWO, each mounted to marble rectangular base, depicting a metal horse/donkey and cart with polychrome hand-painted porcelain insert, including one with floral motif on black ground and one with a colorful bird and nest design. Late 19th/20th century. 2 3/8" HOA.

Catalogue Note: The black floral example is possibly a souvenir from the Palais Royale in Paris, France.
