GERMAN HUTSCHENREUTHER PORCELAIN PLAQUE, ovoid form, after the painting by Gustav Carl Ludwig Richter (German, 1823-1884), featuring a beautiful blue-eyed young woman, titled "Louise" to back for Prussian Queen Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wearing a gold star crown with white dress, pink bow, and a fur wrap, signed "Wagner" to lower right. Housed in a giltwood Florentine-style frame and black-painted shadow box. Impressed shield mark with "C M / HR" and crown above. Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory, Hohenberg, Germany. Late 19th/early 20th century. 4 3/4" x 3 1/4" sight, 16 3/4" x 14 3/4" OA.
Plaque undamaged; gilt frame having some visible cracks but not examined out of frame; shadow box having minor expected wear including some paint touch-ups to edges.
